“ We stopped for lunch because I read a review that said "best fried chicken." The restaurant was very busy but there were two empty tables. My friends ordered from the menu and I got the buffet. It was fantastic and amazingly quick! I would happily eat here daily if I lived in the area. Will definitely be a destination point when in that area!! ”
“ Stop. Go in. Sit down. Relax and enjoy. Don't hurry. Just be in this place, with these kind people. The food is so southern it was irresistible. We were peckish and intended to share meal, but instead we rolled out after sampling almost everything on the flavorful buffet. Such a nice surprise. Old. Quaint. Full of locals. Amazing. Stop reading and go fill your plate. ”
“ Staff is super friendly and the little buffet was amazing! If we ever come through this way again we will definitely stop in again ”
“ Don’t let my four star rating keep you away from this ancient little building of southern awesomeness. The staff, the building and the food are all wonderful reasons to plan your trip around a visit to this century old Christ centered establishment. It does look a little rough on the exterior but once inside you’ll enjoy a clean front end with fresh smiles and enough pecky cypress to panel NASA’s VAB! (Maybe I overstated that one, LOL) My wife was hungry for a really good burger, which they promised and boy, did they deliver... It was mouth-watering smash-burger perfection! I couldn’t resist the southern buffet that was still fresh at the end of the night with a light, crisp coating on the fried chicken and pork chops, flavorful southern sides and almost gooey chocolate sheet cake for desert. ”
